Page. The second family counted after him was that of Elijah Husted &
Clarissa Husted. The age of William's son William was deduced from a
comparison of the 1830 & 1840 censuses. He was then presumed to be
William M. in the 1850 census. It seems probable the girl born last was
a weakened twin to Charles. She apparently dies young.

Beginning at a Pine tree standing by the marsh side unto a corner of said
Campbell's other lands from
Thence N20.5E 43C20L to a stone for a corner binding on said Campbell's
other lands;
Thence still by the same N25W 30C50L to a stake;
Thence N50E 14C90L to a gum marked for a corner standing in the bear
swamp;
Thence N69.5W to a stake for a corner, it being the division corner
between the said Dayton Newcomb and Richard Whitecer, Sr.
Thence S2W 97R near the bear swamp;
Thence S25E 74R6L to a stake standing on the south side of the road that
leads from the beaver dam down to _ creek bridge;
Thence S20.5W to a stake that stands near pond Calledy sheep killing pond
near a point of land;
Thence binding on the land and marsh to the place of beginning containing
by estimate 100 acres to be the same more or less, together with equal
half part of a salt marsh that belongs to this within tract of land which
marsh has not been divided by the said Whitaker and Newcomb but is to be
divided equally in quantity and quality together with all and singular ..
