Crossley - On the 27th inst., Betsey Crossley, daughter of Mary and
Robert Roberts, aged 19 years, 11 months and 19 days.
Where shall we lay her, our idolised one?
The pride of our household, our treasure is gone.
A dark cloud of sorrow has shadowed us o'er,
Our loved one is sleeping to waken no more.
Farewell, my father and mother,
Dry up your tears of love;
Farewell, my sister and brother,
"Till we meet in Heaven above.
You will not forget me, mother.
When I'm sleeping 'neath the sod,
But plant the laurel o'er me.
As I loved you next to God.
The relatives and friends of the family are respectfully invited to
attend the funeral from the residence of her parents, 3324 School street,
Bridesburg, on Sunday afternoon at 3 o'clock. To proceed to the
Bridesburg Presbyterian Church **209
