Status of Research Statement:
Most descendant work to be done has been chased across the Atlantic to
England. If I ever go there, I shall try to do more.
There is a curious coincidence: Verna recalls a Lennon family connect?
Jane Eliza (nee Greed) sails out of Liverpool? She reports being born
in London and a birth certificate exists for that event. Jane Eliza's
sister Sarah Ann Greed marries John Lennon at Manchester Cathedral - see
Greed file
Tis quite possible Taylors, Greeds, Cooks & Gillettes came also.
LB_01 Jane Cook - cousin to Thomas Evans Cook? Married John Greed.
LB_02 Thomas Robert Cook/Verna Ethel Cook
Tom's line (linked to Geo. A. Custer) derives from pre-Revolutionary Cooks
in southern NJ and DE, I think.
LB_03 Rachel Cook - Char Ullock (Tom)
LB_10 Silvester Cook/Mary - Aaron's line
Thanks to Valerie Edwards for help on this line.

Chester, New York. Fell 18 feet from beam, shattering foot, hip, nose and
breaking coccyx. I imagine the fall was caused by anoxia accommodating
a standup after having a cigarette. We had discussed this scenario several
months earlier while he was visiting me in Texas. We could also both
taste the alkali that was being added to the tobacco. Hemmorragh removed
from left temple area. Bleeding and swelling throughout brain. Comatose
for some time, did not respond to commands until 1991 Nov 19. Shades of
